And while there are a variety of different types of snake, there are also quite a few different types that are more commonly found in homes.

Here’s a rundown of the most common snake venom types, what you need to know, and when you should be concerned.

Nervous System Overview There are about 15 different types and subtypes of snake skin that make up the nervous system.

Nerve endings, or axons, are the sensory nerves that transmit sensory information from one nerve to another.

The most common type of nerve endings is found in the vertebrae of the snake.

The axons connect the skin of a snake to the spinal cord, the spinal chord, the heart, and other body parts.
